Using HTTP, the Lightspeed Internet Server allows Internet Explorer, Firefox, or other Java-enabled browsers to load and execute a Java-based Virtual Terminal application. This Java application provides 4230 or 2256C terminal emulation to a Wang VS from anywhere on the internet or your intranet.
Using FTP, the Lightspeed Internet Server allows file transfers between the VS and most popular FTP clients. In addition, it supports document conversions from DP, WP, and WP+ to most common word processing formats.
